Inspiring Women to Achieve Resilient Motherhood since 2015

Hi, I’m Anisa Woodall.

Upon entering clinical practice as a holistic Certified Nutritionist in 2015 here in Issaquah, WA, I gained a profound understanding of the unique challenges women face when starting a family. I delved into research, enriched my personal and professional knowledge, and applied my findings to my own life.

Through this journey, I unlearned common patterns of relating to women's bodies and gained valuable insights into adopting a Resilient Mother mindset. I learned to tune-in intuitively to my body and baby's needs, and to trust fully in the wisdom of my body, throughout every stage of the motherhood transition.

Armed with this extensive knowledge, inner connection, and trust in my intuition, I confidently embarked on my own pregnancy journey, successfully delivering healthy, strong, and resilient babies at home.

And I want the same for you!

I’ve been there…

When I think back to the time when I struggled with my hormones, I experienced debilitating period pain, massive sugar cravings, draining fatigue, non-existent libido, and so much more, I know just how frustrating the symptoms of hormone imbalances can be! And when you desperately want a child, those feelings can be compounded!

I've witnessed many of my clients experience fertility challenges and prior pregnancy complications, dying to find a better way to becoming a mother.

Throughout my own journey to adopt the mindset of a Resilient Mother, I learned how to weave intuition and my understanding of female physiology to optimize my fertility and that of my clients.

My Approach

My specialties

My education

Whole-food, Nutrient-focused, Animal-based

Following a vegetarian diet for about 7 years led me to hit rock bottom in my health and my hormones. Being a big believer in adopting a growth mindset, I found the opportunity to grow (and serve) from this experience.

Learning over time that extreme, restrictive diets are fear-inducing and unsustainable, I place my focus on optimizing nutrient density and sufficiency, encouraging a whole-foods, animal-based approach, an approach I’ve found to serve myself and many of my clients.

From menarche through motherhood

I specialize in nutrition coaching for women who are in their preconception, pregnancy and postpartum stages of life. I provide nutrition coaching in reproductive nutrition (fertility, unexplained infertility and preconception), Pregnancy (including but not limited to Gestational Diabetes, reflux, constipation, morning sickness/pregnancy nausea, and general pregnancy nutrition optimization), and Postpartum nutrition education and planning.

I also specialize in other healing expressions in women’s health such as PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome), Endometriosis, and other presentations of hormone imbalances (such as period pain, heavy bleeding, short/long cycles, irregular cycles and more).

Experienced and qualified

I received my Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science from Bastyr University, the leading institution in natural health sciences. I have completed countless hours of continuing education in Women’s Health, Preconception/Fertility and Pregnancy Nutrition, Herbal Medicine, and using food as medicine.

Having worked in clinical practice alongside Naturopathic Doctors for 7 years, I have served many women with nearly every challenge along the way and have learned what approaches truly move the needle and which are mostly hype.

I’m both experienced and qualified to help you create your healthy life and baby from the inside-out.
